is rising, the Caponé Center

The Tribual Constitucional (TC) on Tuesday were ordered to
go and close down all pharmacies that sold ‘bamba’ fake medicines. However,
yesterday all the businesses were up and running again. The failure to complete
the task by the TC gave rise to the Direccion General de Medicamentos y Drogas
(Digemid) of the Ministerio de Salud (The health ministry), who indicated that
they had ordered the closing down of these ‘death pharmacies’ in 2002. These
medicines can cause serious health risks and even death, the representative of Asociacion

(Alafarpe), Luis Bayona del Peru said that the black market of pharmaceuticals
makes around 45 to 60million dollars a year.
