Metallica getting closer to Lima, Peru

Only twelve days before the long awaited Metallica’s concert in Lima, drummer Lars Ulrich said “We are always coming back,” according to Rolling Stone Magazine.

“With Metallica we don’t know how it’s going to be tomorrow, or in January, in Argentina. To me, Metallica represents freedom, something unpredictable; represents all things based on drive, in the energy of a moment. It’s something with a life of its own,” said Ulrich,

Metallica will perform in Lima on Jan. 19 at the Universidad de San Marcos Stadium.

Their guitar player, Kirk Hammett, played a Peruvian charango some days ago during an interview with a local TV channel.
