Peruvian Ambassador in Haiti Vicente Azula reported that the embassy will make a register of all the Peruvians that are being located in Haiti, in order to inform their relatives in Peru.

In addition, Minister Nidia Vilchez told the press that the government will coordinate actions to help those Peruvians to return to Peru.

“We estimate that there may be some 60 Peruvians in that country, and we will give them all the necessary help,” she said.

She also reported that Peru will send another humanitarian flight to bring back the fellow Peruvians as well as those Peruvian soldiers and doctors that went there in the first flight, last Jan. 14.
