Japan has oficially opened its market to fresh Peruvian mangoes, according to a press release issued by Peru’s Embassy in Japan.

Peru’s National Service of Agrarian Health (Senasa) and Japan’s Agriculture Ministry will have now to determine the export procedures, in order to meet the Japanese quality and packaging standards.

This will have a positive impact among Peruvian mango exports, according to the press release.

The initiative to approve Peruvian mango exports started two days ago, and Senasa will soon receive the visit of a representative from Japan’s Agriculture Ministry, to coordinate the procedures for the first export.
