Cultural association Capulí (www.capuli.org), directed by Antero and Manuel Moreno-Salvador, will celebrate the “Fiesta del Pisco” in Paris, on Feb. 5.

This activity, coordinated by the Peruvian Consulate in Paris, is sponsored this year Promperú, Yachay Tours, IntiPerou.com, PérouGourmand.com and the Consulate.

This promotion of Peruvian pisco, a liquor considered as national heritage, will emphasize its Peruvian origins, as well as the fact that this is obtained by the distillation of grape juice ferment.

Attendees can taste it alone or in Pisco Sour, our delicious cocktail made from lemon, egg white, sugar syrup and pisco.

This year the festival will open with extracts of the three chapters on Peruvian cuisine that the French television program "Fourchette et sac à dos" (fork and backpack) has repeatedly broadcasted on France 5.

This event will also feature musical entertainment by artists like Kike Larrea, Rodolfo Muñoz and Miguel Ballumbrosio belonging to the Afro-Peruvian group "Chinchiví.”
