Canada-based Four Seasons Hotels interested in Peru's marketCanada-based hotel chain Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, owned by Bill Gates, has expressed an interest in having a luxury hotel in Peru, said the Peru Hotels Society (SHP).

The Peru Hotels Society’s General Manager, Tibisay Monsalve, told the press that Four Seasons’ executives arrived in Peru last November, in order to evaluate the options that Peruvian market actually offers.

“They wanted especific information from Lima, Cusco and the Incas Sacred Valley, which are the markets that draw their attention,” said Monsalve.

She clarified that Four Seasons is interested in running an already existing hotel, which they would add “their special touch of style,” because their policies do not consider dealing with construction licences nor with municipal permits.
