The President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who will arrive in Lima tomorrow (March 21) in an official visit, will be decorated with the Congress’ Honor Medal on Tuesday, March 23.
ThePresident of the Congress, Luis Alva Castro, announced that all the congress’ activities will be halted that day during this ceremony.
Kirchner will arrive along with a delegation of more than 100 business people, who have already scheduled more than 500 business meetings in Peru, according to the Argentinian Ambassador in Lima, Dario Alessandro.
This will be the first visit of an Argentinian President to Peru in 16 years.
