This weekend, the Peruvian communities in Toronto, Canada, will have a celebration; the Festival de la Papa (Potato Festival), to be held at the Peruvian restaurant “La Cocina de Doña Luz.”
The menus have been elaborated by the Peruvian chef Luis Barreto, who not only has included dishes made with potatoes, but also other representative dishes like arroz con pollo, lomo saltado, cebiche, anticucho, arroz con mariscos, among others.
Attendants can enjoy as many dishes as they like since the festival is organized as an “all you can eat” buffet.
This is a part of the celebrations scheduled for the Month of the Hispanic Cultures, held every year in Toronto.
