Artist from Peru wins international contemporary art price in Barcelona

Peruvian artist Andrea Cánepa, won the third edition of SWAB Prize, held during the International Fair of Contemporary Art of Barcelona, which received works from 32 galleries from nine countries.

Al present, some 13,000 people have visited the Fair of Barcelona (North-East of Spain) where they enjoyed paintings, sculptures, drawings, videos and installations.

A selection committee formed by Fernando Romero, member of the Council of Contemporary Art of Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the Barcelonian collector José María Civit and the Berliner collector Alexander Tramm has been in charge of choosing the ten winning works.
