Peru: Chile's Parque Arauco takes control of Larcomar Shopping CenterChilean Parque Arauco closed a deal with Peru’s Graña y Montero (G&M), that allows the first one to take control of Larcomar Shopping Mall, in the upperscale Limenian district of Miraflores, starting today.

The agreement establishes that the trading of shares will take place in the next few days, according to Chile’s La Tercera.

“This is another step to consolidate our company as a leading operator in this industry. We expect to place Larcomar as the best commercial and entertainment complex in the area,” said Juan Pablo Spoerer, Manager of Corporative Finances at Parque Arauco.

Last year, Larcomar generated an income of nearly US $5,700 million, according to La Tercera.

Larcomar receives some 500,000 visits per month; covers an area of 45,000 m2 with four levels and 155 shops.
