The 15th edition of the International Book Fair of Lima opens today at Los Proceres Park in Jesus Maria district, this time with Ecuador as the guest country.

Many writers from Ecuador are coming to participate in the fair events, like book presentations, conferences, concerts, seminars, and educational activities for children, and the most important editorial houses which will present their most representative books.

This fair has become one of the most important ones in South America, not only because of the amount of books traded but also for the large number or attendants, mostly young people looking to improve their technological knowledge.

It is considered to be at the same level as the fairs in Guadalajara, Santiago de Chile, Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Panama city.

The 15th edition of the annual International Book Fair of Lima will be held until August 4.
