TLC agreement with U.S. in April

0

Peru and the United States have April 6th as the preliminary date to sign the “Trato de Libre Comercio-TLC” free trade agreement. Its important that the agreement is formalized on that day so it can be approved by the Peruvian congress before June and doesn’t affect the exporters, if this doesn’t go “according to plan” there is a chance that many exporters may lose their job.
The Comunidad Andina de Naciones are still discussing about the initiative of Peru and Colombia of modifying the Peruvian legislation to allow the countries to protect the intellectual property of the dates that prove the suitability. Peru and the United States in the TLC agreed to this protection. Today the negotiations to expand the agreement of economic complementation signed by Mexico begin.
