ONPE behind schedule

In 5 weeks, around 17 million Peruvians will be entering their decisions in ballot boxes to vote for a president, 120 members of congress and the first 15 representatives of Peru, before the Andino Parliament. However for the past 2 weeks the “Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales” ONPE-National Office of Electoral Processes haven’t made any key decisions on how the process will be presented in April. Nevertheless before Friday, 9 million records, voting placards and election posters; will be posted in streets and public squares and handed out to people so they can familiarize themselves with the characteristics of the unique voting certificate, so they get informed on how to vote and especially the new fees that will be fined for those who do not vote.
