The young Peruvian tennis player Duilio Beretta will play doubles with the famous US tennis celebrity John McEnroe, former N°1 of the world and winner of seven Grand Slams.
The friendly match will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Guayaquil Tennis Club.
Beretta and McEnroe (who is 51 now) will play against Andrés Gómez, winner of the Roland Garros in 1990, and Roberto Quiroz, who is nephew of Gómez and his mate in the Roland Garros Grand Slams and in the recent US Open, in the Juniors category.
“To me, it is an honor to be surrounded by the best ones. There is always something to learn from them, and this will be a grandiose experience,” said Beretta to Diario Depor.
Beretta is already in Ecuador, training for the upcoming match.
