Dilma Rousseff, Brazil’s new president, will visit Peru in February to participate in the Third Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA), reported Andina.
The announcement was made by Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota.
"This summit will give her a valuable opportunity to meet with leaders of South America and the Arab world", he said.
The ASPA Summit will be the most important international event to be held this year in Peru and will expand our market to the Arab world in trade, tourism and cultural matters.
During four days 34 heads of state and government from South American and Arab countries will gather during February 13 to 16 in Lima.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the meeting of High Level Officials will also be held during these days.
