Peruvian Pisco Sour drink celebrates its day

Pisco Sour, the famous Peruvian drink that was created nearly one hundred years ago is celebrating its day in Junin on February 4, Junin regional government announced today.

Regional production director, Waldys Vilcapoma said that there will be a special toast this Friday with the Peruvian flagship drink.

Vilcapoma added that pisco sour is internationally known and “we are not far away to supply the lemon, one of its main ingredients, which is produced in some zones of our region.”

The National Pisco Sour Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of February since 2004.
