The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (SHCCNJ), which represents nearly 70,000 Hispanic businesses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, announced today its second International Investment Commerce Forum (FIC 2011) set to take place in Lima, Peru, on March 17-18. The forum’s objective is to provide education, training and international business tools to Peruvian businesses to strengthen trade relations between Peru and the United States.

“The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, the University of Garcilaso de la Vega (UGV) and the Peruvian American National Roundtable (PANR) continue with the mission to promote and better trade between Peru and the United States and to help strengthen our growing economy and to maintain information with the business and the development of small and medium business owners,” said Dr. Daniel H. Jara, founding president and CEO of the SHCCNJ.

Dr. Luis Cervantes Liñán, president of UGV, emphasized the achievement of FIC 2011, a project that focuses on promoting the development of business investments along with sharing technology, finance, and partnership between Peru and the United States.

“The academic training of professionals by the School of Business and International Relations of the UIGV is highly regarded and this training provides them with the service and skills needed to continue promoting the Peruvian economic development,” said Cervantes Liñán.

Investment and Development Forum Topics
