Peruvian professional boxer Kina Malpartida made her appearance at Lima’s Jorge Chávez airport around 4 p.m. yesterday amidst much media attention. The world Super Featherweight champion smiled and waved, but didn’t speak.

She immediately boarded a van waiting for her at the exit of the first terminal. Her arrival fell slightly short of a warm reception, but her fans will surely show her much support when she defends her title on April 16 in Lima’s Estadio Monumental against U.S. challenger Rhonda Luna, who has already begun trash talking!
