Peru is less attractive for investors


According to the English magazine “The Economist” South America is not that attractive for the investors due to the attitude of a wide part of the population towards foreign investment and the political position of some countries: “They will be more selective than before due to the disenchantment of the population due to liberal reforms”.
The Latin American country which has the best position is Chile with a punctuation of 7,81 dropped from place 20 to 22 during the period 2000 to 2005, Mexico goes back from position 40 to 42 with 6,88 points, Brazil drops from position 42 to 45 with 6,74 points, Colombia goes from 51 to 55 and Peru drops from position 55 to 59, while Argentina and the Dominican Republic stay in the places 57 and 66. For the period between 2001 to 2005 Denmark is in the first place with 8,82 points.
