The elections will be clean

presidential candidate representing Union por el Peru (UPP) Ollanta Humala,
said in a meeting that the traditional political parties were worried about his
popularity and they might prepare a fraud in the elections.
The chief of
the National Office for Electoral Processes (JNE) Magdalena Chu denied that
there was a process in order to change the results of the elections, that do not
correspond to the will of the people.
“It is
guaranteed that the elections are transparent and done in the correct way” said
Virgilio Hurtado, consultant of the JNE. “When someone makes an accusation of
that sort, it should be based in arguments and canalized through the mechanisms
of the law” said Percy Medina from the organization Transparencia, he added
that it is difficult to make a fraud out of the elections.
