Silvia Núñez del Arco announced on Facebook that her husband, Jaime Bayly, just opened his own personal account on the popular social network.

Previously the writer had pages that fans could "like" but not a personal account in which the controversial writer could "befriend" his fans. In addition to his newly opened account, there are several accounts under the name "Jaime Bayly," posing as the writer.

In just hours, Bayly received hundreds of greetings. So far he has more than 2,000 friends, reports El Comercio.

In the basic information section of his account, the journalist and writer says he is a "proven fool, loser and happy man."
