The candidate to the first vice-presidency of Union Por El Peru, Gonzalo
Garcia Nunez , announced that in case of a nationalistic
government led by Ollanta Humala, ex-president Alberto Fujimori and his ex-adviser and spy chief
Vladimiro Montesinos will be fulfilling their jail sentences.
In his closing arguments during the programmatic TV debate last night, he emphasized that his UPP party will conduct a reform of the justice system on the basis of the
recommendations by the ‘Special Commission for the integral reformation
of the justice administration’ (CERIAJUS).
Garcia Nunez also indicated that in a possible
government of Ollanta Humala “we will live in a democratic,
pacifistic and secure state”.
He declared also that there will be economic growth with a correct
distribution of wealth and to impel any investment which deprives the state, science, technology or the modernity of small-
and medium-sized companies.
Garcia Nunez assured that a nationalistic administration will be
executed in an austere and participating way and that it will carried out on the basic principles of meritocracy.
“The State will not be a booty”, he added.
