Small earthquake shakes Lima’s Sunday morning breakfast tables


An earthquake with a 4.0 magnitude on the Richter scale shook breakfast tables in Lima on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Personal or material damages were not reported, said Peru’s Geophysical Institute (IGP).

The quake’s epicenter was located 35 kilometers southeast of Lima near the town of Chosica, with a depth of 83 km.
