The 2 thousand 227 kilograms of cocaine seized in Chiclayo was Tuesday night transferred to the Anti drug Direction of the National Police of Peru (PNP) in Lima. The drugs and the dealers that seized and arrested during a police operation arrived to the Police airport where the delinquents were transferred to the Public Affairs Department for further investigations.
General Luis Montoya, General Director of the police, informed during a press conference, that the drug seized is of very high purity and from Colombia. One of the drug dealers captured, is a certified chemist who was preparing the drug for a “safe” transfer to Mexico. The huge amount of cocaine is valued at approximately three million dollars.
