Congressmen are not allowed to travel to Chile to interfere in Fujimori?s case

0

Jose Miguel Morales, president of the Confederación Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas (National Confederation of Private Business Institutions) the CONFIEP, expressed his rejection to the announced trip of a group of Peruvian congressmen to Chile, among them Gustavo Pacheco, to support Fujimori´s extradition process and said that the presence of these legislators in that country could be badly interpreted.

When Jose Miguel Morales was consulted whether the businessmen are worried or not about an eventual participation of Fujimori in the 2006 presidential elections, he answered that the CONFIEP is only worried if there would be candidates who could generate violence in the electoral process.
