APRA wants to separate Arequipa?s mayor from their party

The APRA party secretary of the party’s executive committee Alberto Meza announced that the party has requested the suspension of Arequipa´s mayor for his negative behaviour.
This happen after Arequipa´s mayor, Yamel Romero, member of the APRA party, said that the 2006 presidential election is Alan Garcia the last opportunity to become candidate and that he should allow the new generation of politicians to become candidates too.
Alberto Meza stated that APRA´s Court of Ethics and Moral will give its solution to the Romero case in app. 10 days, which could be either a temporal separation from the party or a warning.
