Peru honors 10 successful micro & small entrepreneurs

Peru’s Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) will award for the first time prizes to ten winners of a nationwide contest on enterpreneurship and business development of micro and small-size enterprises in the country.

Entrepreneurs Francisco Huancahuire Chávez from Arequipa, Dina Marcañaipa Garces (Lima), Luis Peralta Córdova (Tumbes), Teresa Toledo Gonzáles (Lima) and José Cornejo Alcántara (Piura ) will obtain graduate scholarships to study at ESAN University.

While Miguel Botto Arteaga (Lima), Manuel Raico Azañero (Cajamarca), Jorge Moreno Luffire (Arequipa), Heijster Adrianus Maria (Cajamarca) and Jose Sosa Maza (Piura) will obtain scholarships to attend foreign universities.

All of them will receive the highest recognition awarded by the State for formal entrepreneurs who generate decent employment in several economic activities.

They may also use the symbol of the prize in their products and documents, which will identify them as "Responsible Creators of Sustainable Entrepreneurship" over the next three years.
