Peru’s Foreign Minister Jose A. Garcia Belaunde pointed out on Tuesday the possibility of attracting capital from the Middle East, with the participation of Peru at the Second Summit of Heads of State and Government of South American and Arab Countries (Aspa), which currently takes place in Doha, Qatar.
"The idea is to work that region as a possibility to attract capital and to eventually expand our markets," he said to Andina news agency."We want to work on projects of cooperation, and in projects to promote trade and investment", he remarked.
The head of the Peruvian diplomacy takes part in the second Summit from today until April 1st, along with the head of Peru’s Congress, Javier Velasquez, who chairs the Peruvian delegation.
