All the people planning on going to the beach or camping during the long Holy Week break will enjoy excellent weather conditions, said Peru’s National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (Senamhi).
Senamhi expert Teresa Garcia predicted that rains will decrease in several parts of the country reducing the risk of flooding and landslides, especially in the provinces of Chosica and Matucana in central Lima.
She also mentioned that different areas of southern Lima, such as Cañete and Lunahuana, will enjoy high temperatures and sunshine.
"Temperatures can range between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius (82 and 89 degrees Fahrenheit) in Ica and Nazca," added Teresa Garcia.
"For those staying in Lima, the temperature in the capital and Callao will be between 19 and 25 degrees Celcius," (66 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit) she noted.
