Peru’s Proinversión seeks for international investors

ProInversión, the state agency in charge of promoting private investment in Peru, will start today a series of roadshows abroad, in order to draw international attention on the Peruvian prioritized projects.

Proinversión representatives will have meetings in Brazil with companies like Delta Construcoes, Queiroz Galvao y Grupo Libra; in Singapur they will reunite with The Portek Group and Shangai Airports International, among some others.

Afterwards they will also meet some representatives of U.S. companies which have shown keen interest in Peru as a safe market for investment.

According to Proinversión webpage, the agency has already obtained investments worth US $1.2 billion dollars, through the concession projects granted in the first quarter this year.
