Octapharma to enter Peruvian market

According to Gestión newspaper, Octapharma, a Swiss-based company specialist in plasma fractionation, will join the Peruvian market as part of its expansion plan in Latin America.

The company’s main business is the development, production and sale of high quality plasma derivatives.

Octapharma has grown to 3,000 employees in 28 countries since its founding in 1983, and at present they have five modern, state-of-the-art production facilities in Austria, France, Germany, Sweden and Mexico.

Alfredo Motty, the Export Manager for Latin America, explained that at first they will market their products, but they are also considering the possibility of more new business, such as the installation of a new plant to supply countries in the region.

Octapharma is represented in Peru by Grey Farmadual Group, Peruvian enterprise with 7 years of experience in the market.
