Mexichem expands its plant in Peru

Grupo Amanco (from Mexichem group) opened the expansion of its production plant of pipes, connections and plastic accessories, located in the district of El Agustino, Lima.

The investment amounted more than US $17 millions, according to Franklin Alarco, General Manager of Amanco Peru.

“In January 2008, we doubled plant’s capacity, with 2 new industrial warehouses of more than 3,000 square meters,” Alarco said.

This extension allowed increasing four PVC extrusion lines, one corrugated extrusion line, as well as injectors for the mold systems, polyethylene equipment, among others.

Alarco added that the company’s goal is to reach an 8% growth this year.
