Peru’s U-18 girls volleyball team failed to reach the semi finals of Thailand’s 2009 Girls’ Youth World Championships after falling 3-2 (25-16, 25-17, 20-25, 22-25, 15-7) to Serbia in a thrilling second round match on Tuesday evening (Peruvian time).
The Peruvians appeared somehow sleepy and tired; after a week of intensive performance, the physical shape of some teams is a bit declining, so their job is getting tougher and tougher.
The Serbians run perfectly all the way through and never lose the control of the operations.
Peru wasn’t able to speed up the rhythm and close up in the score and the final 25-17 was no surprise.
