According to Yahoo finance, Peru is one of the top silver producers of the world and this has allowed the jewellery industry to grow simultaneously.
Promperú is sending a committee that will take part in the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show (HKIJS) which is going to take place on March 2-6 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This five-day event is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). It will allow Peruvian jewelers to expand their business vision on this sector, to adapt new design trends and to interact with other manufacturers from the region.
This event reunites thousands of companies, mostly from Asian countries such as Thailand. HKIJS has been a pioneer of fair trade movement for sustainable change of emerging countries. Therefore, such an international event will represent an opportunity to promote Peruvian jewellery products in Asia.
The HKIJS showcases products like jade, silver, antique and vintage jewellery, accessories and precious stone jewellery.
For more information about the venue, visit the official website of the event.
