Selví¡monos is a festival like no other. Besides providing the best music tunes, the festival emphasizes sustainability, featuring topics such as zero plastic waste and a dizzying array of eco-themed talks, dances and workshops.
This year Selvamonos’s 5th edition features La Primera Parada (The first stop) in Lima on April 1 at 5pm. The Music fest will be held at Chorrillos Paintball.
Unlike other such gatherings, Selví¡monos is not only focused on music, but also attempts to expose the environmental issues in the Peruvian Jungle through workshops and artistic art pieces. There will be numerous artworks on display made by Decartí³n, including a whole collection of origami pieces, a tree made of recycled plastic bottles and stands made out of carton. Plastic art will also be featured, much of it given by the Arquitectos Medihabitat.
Scenic and performing art from Tsachopén, Oxapampa will be offered, displaying the traditional dances of the Amazonic culture.
Festival goers will be able to enjoy different dishes from all parts of Peru thanks to Food Trucks of Peru.
