Pasco and the amazing suspension bridge of Pozuzo

The district of Pozuzo is one of seven districts located in the department of Pasco In this historic place you can find the stunning suspended bridge, located north of the city of Oxapampa

The bridge extends over the Huancabamba river and still features the materials with which it was first built. Quite sturdy, this structure dates from colonial times.

The bridge was presented by Emperor William II of Prussia in 1914 and since then has been used to cross the river. Because of its height, the structure has not been affected by the heavy rain seasons

Those who wish to visit the bridge, can do so by bicycle, on foot and even by car. It truly is a fascinating piece of history where you can take amazing photos. The bridge was built during colonial times, where it served the locals to cross the Huancabamba river.
