“The new office … was inaugurated today as part of a financing and support agreement against drugs and organized crime”, said the Ministry of Interior on September 17, 2018, according to Sputnik News.
The investment involved is of 12 million euros and it will be used for training and education about criminal actions by Peruvian police, judges and prosecutors.
“Likewise, it was detailed that the team in charge of the training will be made up of ‘nine people, including police officers from Spain, France, Romania and Italy, as well as European judges and prosecutors, who will work together with the National Police of Peru.’”, you can read in the aforementioned website.
