The executive power established the new slogan “Peru First” (El Perú Primero) for all its instances, such as ministries, public organisms, programs, and projects.
According to ministerial resolution No. 113-2018-PCM, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, this slogan will be used in all of the institutional informational advertising.
This slogan replaces “Working for all Peruvians” (Trabajando para [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]) that Pedro Pablo Kuczynski established in January 2017.
The paperwork held by the ministries of the executive branch and the public bodies attached to them must be exhausted prior to the application of this ministerial resolution, wrote Gestión today.
The phrase “Peru First” was the first tweet Martín Vizcarra published after having known about the resignation of former President Kuczynski.
One of the main goals of Vizcarra’s administration is to eradicate corruption and to fight poverty, which increased one percentage point in 2017 for the first time in the current millennium.
During his first month and the Peruvian Head of State, he has had several initiatives to reactivate the economy as well.
