Peru Has Its Own Cryptocurrency


Bits2u launched PeruCoin the first 100% Peruvian cryptocurrency.

“Through PeruCoin, we seek to show Peruvians the operation and functioning of the world of cryptocurrencies”, said Víctor Nieto, Bits2u CEO, to El Peruano today.

“The currency will provide a comprehensive solution for crypto-lovers and investors to ensure the value of maximization of our customers,” he continued.

Today, the usage level of cryptocurrencies in Peru has one of the lowest rates, which is less than 0.7%, while in Brazil it reaches 20% and Argentina 80%.

Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Russia support the use of this digital currency and even some of these markets try to create their national cryptocurrency.
