The minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), Edgar Vásquez, said last week that Peru has been described as the country with the best reputation in Latin America.
After the publishing of the RepTrack latest ranking, which is prepared by the Reputation Institute in the United States, it was known that Peru is first on the list in its region.
“The minister of Mincetur noted that the Country RepTrack Pulse indicator measures the admiration, esteem, confidence and good impression that a country has in relation to others; formed from the following items: admiration and respect, own opinion about the country, good reputation and trust in the country”, said Andina News Agency.
Thus, externally, Peru rose 2.2 points compared to 2018; occupying position 25 of the 55 countries with the highest GDP in the world.
In this opportunity, Peru exceeded the world average score (61.0), occupying the first place in Latin America in the ranking, above Chile and Argentina.
