Alimentaria Barcelona is one of the world’s leading food, beverage and foodservice fairs and it recently ended its most successful edition since it began to take, and Peru was part of it.
Between April 16 to 19, Expo Alimentaria Barcelona attracted hundreds of Latin American exhibiting firms and nearly 5,500 visitors from the region.
This fair is a great platform for internationalization and business, with a high level of innovation and gastronomy as a differential value. In a 100,000 m2 of exhibition place, this fair took place alongside the International Exhibition of Equipment for Catering, Hospitality and Collectivities.
“In this edition, about one hundred companies from nine countries in Latin America participated as exhibitors, one of the preferred markets for the Spanish agroindustry, where it sells about $1,075 million US dollars per year”, informed PR Newswire last Wednesday.
The countries that participated were Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru, being these last three the ones with the largest presence.
