Peruvian and foreign companies involved in the Peru Service Summit 2016, an event that specializes in service exports, expects to generate US$ 85 million in business.
“With a range of software, video games, contact centers, publishing and printing by more than 85 Peruvian entrepreneurs over 100 buyers or investors from 17 countries,” said the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism and President of the Board of PROMPERÚ, Magali Silva Velarde.
“This event, in its sixth edition, has become the principal business platform for the sector in the region.”
Velarde added that over the past five years the Peru Service Summit has generated over US$ 250 million, growing from US$ 19.6 million in its first edition to US$ 85.3 million in 2015.
Countries from Asia, Europe, America, and members of the Pacific Alliance will have special credentials at the event.
Beyond the services offered, said countries are attracted to the event because Peruvian businesses are extremely responsive and versatile when considering their needs.
The event’s participants can work to become competitive in markets projecting serious growth, create strategic alliances and learn about new global market trends.
The 2016 edition of the Peru Service Summit expects 1,500 executives to attend, with upwards of 40,000 people from the United States and Latina America to participate via streaming.
