Peru is scheduled to face Venezuela on Friday, during the seventh round of qualifying matches for 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The national soccer team will play against Venezuela at Lima’s National Stadium. The match is slated to start at 8:25pm local time, and will be broadcast by ATV and CMD, El Comercio reported.
Both sides last played against each other at the 2011 Copa America, where Peru beat Venezuela 4-1, during the third-place match.

Peru is currently at the bottom of the qualifying table for the 2014 World Cup, with only 3 points. Trailing Paraguay (4), Bolivia (4), Colombia (7), Venezuela (8), Ecuador (9), Argentina (10), Uruguay (11), and Chile (12).
Due to Brazil hosting the tournament, the country automatically qualified for the World Cup.
Next week Peru will face Argentina on Tuesday, again playing at Lima’s National Stadium.
