Alexandra Grande Risco is Peru’s unquestioned karate champion. After winning gold in this year’s Premier League she just did it again at the World Games in Poland.
Alexandra Grande Risco just keeps getting better.
She took 1st place in the 2015 Toronto Pan-American Games. She won a gold medal for the 1st time ever in a Premier League this past June. Now, at the end of July, she took on the World Games in Poland where she proudly represented the Andean country again.
In the 61 kg category, Grande defeated Australian Kristina Mah and Slovak Ingrida Suchankova before winning the final against Ukrainian Anita Serogin.
The World Games is a multi-sport event held every 4 years for sports that are not part of the Olympics.
Will Alexandra Grand Risco win again under pressure in her home country at Peru’s upcoming PanAm Games 2019?
