The Latin Grammy 2019 nominated four Peruvians in important categories. Peruvian percussionist Tony Succar is nominated for his album “Más de mi” for Album of the Year, Best Salsa Album, Best Tropical Song and Producer of the Year for Succar.
“Gian Marco is nominated for Best Singer and Songwriter Album for his album “Intuición.” Eva Ayllon is nominated for Best Folk Album for “48 años después”, in addition to the Excellence Award she will receive”, RPP Noticias reported.
On the other hand, Septeto Acarey has obtained a nomination for his album “La llave del son” for Best Traditional Tropical Album. From the same album, the song they perform with Luis Enrique is also nominated for Best Tropical Song. In addition, in the category Best Classical Music album, the multi-instrumentalist, born in Peru and based in Spain, Claudio Constantini seeks to take the award for his album “America.”
