According to El Comercio, fans have been waiting in line since early this week, for a chance at getting close to the stage once doors open.

Some fans even brought tents and supplies to help them get through the nights, as they waited to see the seminal English band.

“You should come to The Cure’s concert, because if you don’t you will hate yourselves for the rest of your lives,” said Robert Smith, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, according to Peru21.

Peruvian bands Resplandor and Kinder will open the show, which will kick off at 6:30 p.m.

The Cure is expected to take the stage at 8:30 p.m.
