Photos: Lima Metro expansion reaches 60 pct. completion

Work at Lima Metro’s Line 1 expansion has reached 62 percent completion according to the Lima Metro Consortium.

The expansion work, which will connect the existing Grau Station to Bayovar, in San Juan de Lurigancho, is expected to be concluded by July 2014, according to Peru21.

The new section of the metro’s Line 1 will add 10 new stations, and about 12.4 new kilometers of tracks, the daily said.
