Pope Francis will be Honored in Peru

Upon his arrival in Peru, Pope Francis will receive the honors that correspond to all the leaders who come to the country on an official visit, said Thursday the president of the Republic: Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.

PPK made this point during the meeting with Monsignor Mauricio Rueda, who is in charge of the trips done by the Supreme Pontiff. It is important to remember that the government of the State of the Vatican City is governed by an absolute monarchy, which is directed by the Pope, for which he is considered the head of state.

The president ratified the commitment of his management to guarantee the stay of Jorge Bergoglio (real name of Pope Francis) in the country will be an immense success, as well as to ensure security in the different masses that will be taking place during his visit.

Also, Kuczynski announced that during the visit of Pope Francis to the Government Palace, the Symphony Orchestra Virgen del Rosario de Manchay will make a special presentation in his honor. For his part, Monsignor Rueda expressed his satisfaction with the progress of preparations and arrangements that have been made to receive the Supreme Pontiff. He also highlighted the work of the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Alfonso Grados, who is the representative of the State and has coordinated the activities of Pope Francis in Peru.

Pope Francisco will make an apostolic visit to Peru between January 18 and 21, 2018, and will be hosted in the cities of Lima, Trujillo and Puerto Maldonado.

Are you going to attend to any of these masses?
