The president has already arrived in Vietnam for the APEC CEO Summit and looks forward to growing Peru’s international trade market.
The XXV Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders Summit (APEC) will take place this weekend. President PPK highlights that the APEC (which will be attended by Russia, China, Japan Canada, the U.S, Australia and some other countries) represents more than a half of the international trade market. The importance of being part of the APEC is undeniable knowing that it is the biggest group created to date for international trading.
Among the objectives of the president during the summit, it is worth mentioning that he will focus on speaking to other leaders to establish bilateral agreements.

The APEC CEO Summit will also be helpful to establish a dialogue with the Chinese head of state in order to discuss Chinese investment in the Peruvian mining industry.
