Sacyr Achieves A New Highway Contract In Peru For $34 Million US Dollars

The Spanish company, Sacyr, was awarded the contract to build a new 205-kilometer-long highway in Peru.

This project will take place in a region north of Lima and its budget is of 126 million soles, which is about $34 million US dollars.

“The group that Manuel Manrique presides over reinforces the presence he has in the Peruvian construction market and takes another step forward in his internationalization strategy”, Notimérica reported.

The contract achieved is now part of the fifth road reconstruction project that the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru currently has and it will be completed in 16 months.

It is also the largest project related to road reconstruction of an area that was harmed by the phenomenon of El Niño Costero in 2017.
